Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Insights Report Designer for an initial 4 month part-time contract. (This role is open to students).


As the successful candidate you will help re-design and build the visual and structural foundation for Noetiq Insight reports to establish a best-in-class design to be used for multi-national clients. You will translate high volumes of content, data, and industry information into a polished, scalable design framework.


This position is available 100% Remote in Canada, with a strong preference for candidates located in Ottawa or Montreal.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Principal Consultant to understand the business consultancy landscape including industries, technology, talent approaches, and other best practices
  • Research and audit existing insight reports across key sectors of maritime, defence, cybersecurity, technology, and talent to identify best-in-class reports, benchmarks, and design standards
  • Design a suite of professional, reusable insight report templates aligned with our brand and content needs
  • Build a clear framework and structure for different report types (e.g. market overviews, sector briefings, trend reports)
  • Use AI tools to accelerate the design and layout process efficiently
  • Develop easy-to-follow style guides and content guidelines to populate future reports
  • Deliver fully editable, production-ready files in formats we can work with long-term


Required skills:

  • Strong graphic design and layout skills (InDesign, Figma, Canva Pro, or equivalent)
  • Ability to conduct research including reviewing and synthesizing industry publications to extract design and content standards
  • Proficiency using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, or design-specific AI) to work efficiently


Nice-to-have skills:

  • Proven experience building reusable report or document templates with an established portfolio showing report, publication, or template design work
  • Familiarity with one or more covered sectors/industries is a bonus
  • Bilingual (English/French)
